Creating Their Own Reality: Rural Entrepreneurship in Southeast Ohio
Southeast Ohio once relied heavily on a few large employers related to the extraction industries as the fuel of the economy. Since coal's collapse in the region over 50 years ago, entrepreneurs have found creative ways to flourish. Through the process of building a business, they've found ways to create products and services that shape their daily lives and connection with their communities.
Through this project, we learn how four entrepreneurs are finding ways to import dollars to Southeast Ohio while growing and defining the entrepreneurial and resourceful culture of the region.
